Really enjoyed this cute little breakfast place right off the boardwalk. It was busy when we arrived around 10am on a Saturday morning, but got seated about 25 minutes later. Our server Vicki, was attentive and always checked on us to make sure we were happy. I decided on the red, white and blue waffle special which contains blueberries, strawberries and coconut flakes on top. Can you say delicious? The coconut flakes is what made it even more better for me as I am a huge fan of anything coconut. The waffles were light and fluffy and you can tell the fruit was fresh. The only thing that wasn't as good were the home fries, which were undercooked and didn't taste how they should have. Luckily, the bacon we got on the side made up for the homefries. The bacon was maple glazed, thick cut and perfectly crispy. I wanted about 10 more but I had to control myself. Everyone at my table enjoyed their food as well, no complaints. Affordable prices and great quality food with excellent customer service. This is a great place to stop by if you want delicious breakfast.

Crab Omlette! Two beautiful words. We may have driven right by this gem as its under a motel- however we scoped out "Yelp" first. So glad we did and read the excellent reviews. This place is great! My husband and I both had the crab Omlette with avacado , it was the best Omlette I had had. It came with toast and stringy homefries. Yum! Will come back for sure. Bright atmosphere, healthy options indoor and outdoor seating. The only reason I did 4 stars instead of 5 was because the servers seemed burnt out and disinterested. Only two on and too busy to answer questions.

This place is wonderful! The waitresses are so sweet. My coffee was in a little cup and saucer which really made my day (I felt like I was at a tea party or something, idk...childhood memories). Food is always fresh and flavorful, they have some really great specials too. It's a nice change of pace to be able to go somewhere in OC and get something healthy.

Loved it Unsure if it was bomb bc I was hungover or what but dang totally hit the spot! Everything bagel with avocado bacon cream cheese ugh like how amazing can you be... Each bite was like heaven.. So freaking good. Veggie omelet also on point! Lots of filling and mushrooms were delicious! Fruit bowl also bomb! Lots of variety and totally big and worth it Ugh enjoyed every single part of this meal. Definitely one of the best places in OC!

When we arrived on Sunday morning around 10:50 and they said it could be a 45 minute wait to seat 6, but we ended up waiting 25 minutes. Score! They have an atm inside but they do take cards. Clean bright atmosphere with happy waitresses who are quick and attentive. One of us ordered an omelette with bacon and cheese, sliced American cheese and bacon that was almost candied and cooked very well so that it held up in the Omelette. RVD was a bagel breakfast sandwich with bacon egg and avocado. Bagel was nicely toasted and came with hashbrowns that were probably from a bag but nicely seasoned and cooked and not greasy. Western omelette was OK my buddy said, I blame him for a lame choice though. Two of us ordered the breakfast burrito which was freaking amazing. Pro move is adding a side of avocado. Again the bacon is just done so well that it was super flavorful. Malias has smoothies and fresh avocado available as a side. This is a great option to have some real food when you feel bogged down by fried food on the Boardwalk. French toast was very good. We decided to play credit card roulette which our sweet waitress had not heard of before, but was such a good sport about and very fun. She put the cards behind her back and waved her hands around and announced the winner. Her attitude made our experience pretty great. Only reason I'm not rating this place 5 stars is that the bathroom was pretty rough and only had one stall so there was a line. The boys said theirs was clean though. Next time we come we may have a smoothie at the outside bar and go back to the beach.

We found another gem in Ocean City, Maryland. We went for Sunday breakfast on Labor Day weekend. There was a little bit of a wait, but nothing terrible. There wasn't much space to wait in the shade, but it was fine. We waited about 15 minutes and were seated inside. The space was a little crowded, but not uncomfortably crowded. I was able to drink about 1.5 cups of coffee before our food came. It took a tad long, but again, nothing crazy. I had sausage, egg, and cheese on a bagel (biggest cheat meal of my life!) and my husband had pancakes. Both meals were delicious and too much to finish!

Not a bad place for breakfast. They were pretty packed when we got there. The atmosphere was really homey and our server, Vicki, was really sweet. I got a special they have - crab omelette and I was pretty impressed. The one downside is the home fries didn't taste cooked all the way. I definitely think that they need to be cooked longer and I even like mine a little burnt. It's right off the boardwalk and I will probably be back but definitely telling them to cook the potatoes more.

Stopped in around 11 on Friday with a group of 6. Wait was about 20 minutes. I was definitely happy with their menu because it was on the healthier side for breakfast places. Our waitress was extremely helpful when we asked 100 questions, only to find out that it was her first day. I ordered the Crab omelet and oh my I'm so glad I did. I'm not a huge egg fan but im glad I went with this. The omelet was filled with a cheesy cream sauce, topped with crab, and avocado. It also came with toast and home fries. It was plenty filling but not overboard. A few girls at the table ordered the cream chipped beef but their toast was barely covered by sauce. They told the waitress and she offered them extra cream to make up for the small portion. I think on a saturday or sunday there will be a long wait because there isn't a ton of seating.

tucked away between the Holiday Inn Suites and an adjoining hotel this little cafe provided us with some healthier lunchtime options to the pizza and fried food found everywhere else; we got avocado and carrot whole wheat sandwiches one day and another day chicken salad wraps, both came with chips and pickles, and we got them to go (however, they were in big styrofoam boxes). They even had a fresh fruit salad to go that wasn't just melons and grapes but included strawberries and blueberries. And the coffee was excellent too. And it's wheelchair accessible (doorway into the place that's wheelchair accessible is on north side, via the hotel courtyard). The bathroom was wh chair accessible too but they had highchairs blocking the passageway (a common restaurant mistake!). Generally friendly service but seemed on the slow side but maybe they were just training the new help...

The food and staff were great. Really cute little place nestled amongst the tackiness of OCMD:) I saw a smoothy bar on the way out so I'm stoked to try that later this week!!

You might not immediately recognize the name "Malia's Cafe" if you aren't a local to the Ocean City area...and that's ok. Or it was ok... until right now. If you don't know already, NOW you are being put on notice. GET YOUR BUTT TO MALIA'S CAFE. Eat a sandwich, drink a refreshing lemonaide. Don't make me tell you a second time because ain't nobody got time for that. And you are welcome, in advance. Do you remember the small little funky house that was located on 25th Street and the Ocean City of Coastal Highway called Mad Hatter's Cafe? That cute little white and green old cottage with the creeky floors in the middle of a block of sunsations and condos? The place with the hand squeezed lemonaide, handmade and homemade sandwiches, soups, salads? Insanely addictive veggie roll-ups and the amazing shrimp salad (just to name a few) that remind you that you are just steps from the beach? AHHH.... now you remember? Well guess what... Malia's Cafe is kinda like.... the Phoenix that rose from the ashes of the Mad Hatter's Cafe that is no longer around. It's Mad Hatter's 2.0. It's prettier, taller and smarter cousin. Now located even CLOSER to the beach (I mean you can SEE the sand from their front steps) and the food has somehow gotten even better. For a few years after Mad Hatter's closed... everyone was pissed. You hear me Malia? PISSED. Pissed because we wanted Sun Tea and Tortellini salad and the White Queen Turkey sub with lettuce and raw onions and they took it from us! Though to be fair, there were reasons that it had to close, and the building is now nestled in downtown Berlin on Jefferson street (as a bungalow rental at the Atlantic hotel... yes they literally picked up the building and moved it to Berlin) But the owner of Malia's cafe (Don't be shocked.. her name is Malia!) was the co-owner of Mad Hatter's Cafe once upon a time. And if you are craving that which you remember from the days gone by, GET THEE TO MALIA's. They have more space now, and more updated facilities and a MUCH larger kitchen to prepare all the nom's that you could ever want to eat. Try: The Veggie Roll up. Shrimp Salad. A crisp glass of lemonaide. Now go!

After walking on the boardwalk, and was tired and needed something to quench my thirst. Found this place on Yelp and drove down from my hotel up in 24st just to get a smoothie. I got the strawberry banana smoothie. It was yummmm. Definitely a great place to stop for a cold refreshing drink.

  • Matt G.

Good food, affordable price, outside seating with a cranky waitress. I got a sausage egg and cheese omelet. Fat chunks of sausage and it was fresh. I ordered a side of fresh fruit that was so awesome, the lady next to me ordered one to go. The staff is the downfall here. The server/waitress seemed annoyed to be there, she basically threw our drinks and food down and left in a huff. Another server was walking by and was muttering under her breath as well. Great food, but not professional. I'll be going somewhere else today

First time visit to Malia's Cafe on 9/18/15 and was worth the short walk from the Holiday Inn.service was quick and friendly. Had the spinach and feta omelet while the wife had the daily special, red white and blue pancakes (strawberry/coconut/blueberry). Food and coffee were good while the pancakes were large portions. Definitely worth a visit.

This place is great. Our waitress was wonderful. We were thrilled to find a place to go for breakfast where we could sit outside with our dog. We were seated right away and received prompt and friendly service. The food was great and reasonably priced.

First time here and will be back! Good healthy food and service something the beach needs more of.

  • Shawn E.

Great location. Friendly service. Nice, casual environment. Food is good but not great. I had the RVD, which is an everything bagel with egg, bacon, garden spread cream cheese, and avocado. Great concept just not executed well. It was too sloppy and hard to hold to eat.

The breakfast was amazing. Very generous plates and our waitress was extremely nice. Definitely will be returning next year.

Great food, great service. Had the RVD breakfast sandwich (everything bagel, avocado, bacon & egg with an herb cream cheese) it was yummy. My husband had cream chipped beef which was also delicious. We had our two month old son with us and the food came out quick which we appreciated! We will certainly return next time we are in OC!

  • Ken Z.

Great little breakfast spot. Everything fresh and tasty. I've at breakfast a lot of places down the beach and this one ranks up near the top. Everything we had was cooked well also. Service was good. So many places at the beach get breakfast wrong. Not this one

    (4)
  • Colin D.

Stopped in for breakfast with my family and we were seated right away. Our waitress was wonderful with us and the kids. My wife and I both got the crab dip omelette with crab and avocados on top. Do yourself a favor and get this, it was outstanding! We will definitely be going back!

The worst food experience I have ever had in Ocean City in 30 years. We waited about 20 minutes which was not a big deal. The service was terrible. Our waitresses had an attitude and rolled her eyes at us when we weren't ready to order. Two of our glasses had cracks in them causing our drinks to leak on us. The cafe had flies everywhere. Now let's talk about the food, which is not health food like it is portrayed. They serve fast food with a couple of vegetarian choices only they do it badly. Onion rings, burnt. The fries over salted. My roast beef sandwich with Au Jus was as dry as Death Valley. The AU Jus tasted like someone took a salt shaker and added a drop of water to it. My mom's chicken cheese stake was as dry as a bone and over cooked. It reminds me of Burger King with poorer quality food. I am so pissed.

  • Eric M.

Although the menu is a little small there are enough choices and a handful of healthy choices. Great food, we had the ham egg and cheese on everything bagel and the health nut french toast (oats raisins peanut butter and granola). Well priced and a nice quite cafe, also friendly customer service!

  • Cassandra C.

Very clean. Nice atmosphere. Coffee was typical of a diner-type-breakfast spot. The food was fresh and good. We were very pleased.

Great breakfast spot and GF friendly! We had the gluten free pancakes with some sides - perfect amount of food for two. Service was quick and friendly.

    (5)
  • Janelle V.

Being gluten free I struggle to find good options at restaurants. I was pleasantly surprised to see they had gluten free pancakes and waffles. I ordered the gluten free waffles with blueberries and a side of bacon. the presentation was wonderful and the food was even better; a huge Belgian waffle covered with blueberries and powdered sugar, not to mention the bacon was cooked perfectly! the overall atmosphere of the restaurant was great, really cute place. 10/10 I will definitely be returning.

Awesome breakfast. Ok this place is awesome for breakfast.. no contest in ocean city.. YOU must order the crab omelet.. It's absolutely great.. service is great.. clean, nice place..

  • Brianna I.

Love this place! This is the only place that has vegetarian options. And the food was delicious! The prices were very reasonable. And my waitress provided great service and was very nice. Also the place is adorable. My boyfriend had the health nut French toast and I had eggs, hash browns and veggie sausage patties. Definitely recommend. Would absolutely go back.

  • Tim H.

I came here at the recommendation of the person who was with me. The venue is located on the street next to the Holiday Inn & Suites and has outdoor seating, which is what we desired. I ordered the falafel pita and it was very very good and hit the spot, which is surprising in my case since I exclusively desire eggs for breakfast. The older lady serving us was very friendly and accommodating. The pleasant atmosphere of the outdoor seating topped off a dining experience that for me far exceeded expectation given my fussiness over breakfast food.

  • Lee J.

We ate there, not once, but twice while in ocean city this weekend. The food was served with a genuine passion for cooking and those that cook know exactly what I mean! Prepared as if the chef was going to eat it his or herself. Service was excellent. Fast and correct! Kids loved it too. Fresh ingredients, good portions and served with a smile. We will definitely return the next time we're in OC! Thank you!

Great Breakfast. The restaurant was bright and clean and the service was charming. I ordered the veggie omelette with sausage and english muffin. Delicious! A great way the start the morning.

  • Jay W.

As a breakfast restaurant owner ( therefore critic lol ) and neighbor I must honestly say you will be pleasantly pleased dining at Malia's Nowadays most dining experiences are forced upon the public through chain restaurants owned by and large by big corporations . Familiarity and heavily advertised businesses tell us what to eat , how much and when to eat . Fortunately there is a small amount of us left in the industry that care about our customers and have pride in what we serve You will find this at Malia's Cafe !! Good luck for a great season in 2005 !!

  • John R.

This is a critical rating, because breakfast encompasses many of my favorite foods. The food was good-not great-and the atmosphere was upbeat. They over stuffed the western omelet (experienced omelet makers know about this mistake). But, this was no indication of the quality of food, which was top tier.

  • Brittany S.

Perfect outside seating breakfast spot that does take cards unlike the Sahara's we tried to go to first. Glad we stumbled upon this place. It was a little busy and our waitress was very rushed, gave off the feeling she was busy and didn't have time. I wish the menu had just a little bit more to order from. My boyfriends western omelet had too many peppers and onions and they were raw, not cooked. My breakfast sandwich was good but nothing great. The breeze was nice and who wants to sit inside when you're at the beach?

  • Skip E.

Its where the locals eat. Say no more. Best breakfast bacon in town. Cream chipped beef is awesome. The Veggie Wrap is to die for. Priced right.

    (5)
  • Annabelle L.

Solid place for breakfast! Service was quick and the place has all your standard options for breakfast. I got a sausage and egg sandwich and the BF got the Western omelet. Eggs were a little flat/rubbery instead of super fluffy, but otherwise everything was a-ok.

    (3)
  • Maita M.

The breakfast here is amazing!! We loved our red, white and blue pancakes (fresh strawberries, blueberries and coconut). Their omelettes are delicious as well. The service is great and the staff are very friendly! We came back for lunch and enjoyed their healthy sandwiches. I strongly recommend this place!!

  • Lorre F.

Friendly, terrific service at this block-off-the-boardwalk cafe. Outstanding waffles, oatmeal with fruit, classic bacon and eggs and overall good selections. Inside is super pink beachy, outside is your basic table seating close enough to smell the bacon inside and the ocean outside. Waitresses were extremely accommodating, offering to-go cups for remaining beverages when we had to run. Fast and cheap, a very decent breakfast selection.

  • Rebecca S.

Went to Malia's for breakfast while on vacation in Ocean City with two friends. I ordered a cheese omelette with bacon and split the full stack of chocolate chip pancakes with my friends. The food was decent and the service was quick. Coffee was hot and sufficiently strong. All around not a bad place for a beachside cafe. Prices were reasonable as well.

    (3)
  • Cris G.

Excellent! Has vegan options. It's very hard to find vegan eats in Ocean City. When we mentioned that we did not eat any dairy or meats, the server told us that they have a few options. Their gluten-free dishes are also dairy free. They also offered a plate with crispy hash browns topped with a generous pile of mixed grilled vegetables. I added a side of avocado. Their fruit bowl is beautiful, and the fruit was fresh. Their portions of pancakes, French toast and waffles are huge. They have soy milk on hand. They have vegetarian sausage and veggie burger. I believe it's Morning Star brand. We did not eat lunch there, but I saw a few dishes that could easily be "veganized."

  • Mike D.

How did this place get 4 & a half stars? First my glass had lipstick on it so I'm guessing it wasn't washed. Then they forgot my bacon & butter. The omlette I ordered was awful & not fully cooked. Never eat here again!

  • Amanda S.

The tuna melt was incredible; best I've ever had by far. The server was so friendly and still willing to serve my friend and myself 15 minutes before closing.

    (5)
  • Dave R.

Great food and great atmosphere! If you can ask for it, they can probably make it. Not much from the outside, but tasty and healthy meals. I had the veggie melt with added chicken and my wife had the chicken cheesesteak. Malia and her husband own the place. Open for breakfast and lunch and closed at 3pm.

    (5)
  • Brenton W.

Nice location -- like most restaurants, diners, cafes, etc. in Ocean City. Hash browns were under cooked, coffee does not come with free refills (also comes in a Styrofoam cup [yuck]), and I asked for no cheese in my omelette and it came with cheese. However, I had sausage in it, so I didn't want to send it back and have it go to waste. The service was nice, though, and when you're in Ocean City, it's hard to get upset over little things. I ate my food and moved on with no complaints, though. Probably will try other places within walking distance in the future, though.

  • Mary J.

Malias is a great place for lunch or breakfast right off the beach. Nice fresh food and very polite service. Sometimes the wait is a bit long, but worth it. We come by every year for breakfast or lunch. Red white n blue pancakes are delish!! (Strawberry blueberry n coconut)

    (5)
  • Yavetta W.

Great food, super friendly and fast service easily makes this place 5 star. My husband and I both had the red, white, and blue pancakes. These pancakes were huge, fluffy, and had fresh blueberries, strawberries & coconut..yum! I had a short stack ,and still could not finish. Even my hubby whom normally eats everything had a hard time clearing his plate. The meats we had were sausage and bacon, and honestly the best I've ever tasted. These were also generously portioned and very flavorful. I loved the fresh ingredients and healthy options ( turkey sausage, fresh avocado and fresh fruit). In addition to the tasty eats, the service was great and the place was cute and clean! We will certainly be back the next time we are in OC!

Veggie wrap w chicken. Tuna melt w real chunk tuna. Fish tacos. Cream of crab soup. All well seasoned, super fresh and served on tee shirt plates! Go...for a lighter, healthier lunch option. 5 Stars!

  • Tom L.

Really good FRESH food. I had the veggie omelet +spinach & turkey sausage patties, with a fruit cup. Let me tell you about this "fruit cup" - Easily the best I've ever had! This isn't your normal cup with honeydew cantaloupe & a few normal fruits. This fruit cup had pears, papaya, blackberries, blueberries, strawberries, kiwi, watermelon, apples, oranges, and maybe one more fruit I can't remember - WOW! It was great!

Food was okay but service was lackluster and she ignored me when I left. I wouldn't go back

  • A O.

Pretty disappointed given the reviews on Yelp. Server was pleasant. But food was lacking. Ordered the omelet with bacon and avocado. Small portions all around. They put a whole piece of bacon in omelet and made it impossible to break up into bite size pieces. Asked for potatoes crispy but they were not and also very small portion. Would not recommend this place.

If you're near 18th st and the boardwalk or like us, staying at the Spinnaker Hotel, Malia's is the place to eat! We stayed for the weekend and spent both mornings enjoying the best breakfast and coffee I've had in OC. Fair prices and the fresh made food are highlighted by the personal service from the young happy employees. We were a group of six adults and a baby and there were nothing but compliments! This will be a must go to for my family from now on and we normally visit our condo all the way on 120th twice a year.

  • Rich B.

Great atmosphere and great food. Staff was friendly and the service fantastic. I had the King Kahameha cheesesteak - delicious. My wife had the Veggie Rollup - also delicious. And the homemade lemonade was great (with free refill)! Of course, we were there in the off-season and only one other table had anyone at it, but I can imagine the place gets packed in season.

3.5 stars The food was good. We went back twice! The first time, we ordered off of the lunch menu. I got the veggie burger in a pita. It was good, but it felt like it was missing something, so I requested some pico de gallo. S really loooved her fish tacos-- she liked them so much we went back the next day, too. M got the wrap with hummus in it. Healthy options are available here. The second time we went back, M got a breakfast sandwich. I had a smoothie-- just made out of a container but still good.

  • Shruti T.

Good, but a tad overpriced. No matter how great my flatbread with pesto and shrimp was, $9 is too much. That's the only downside to this place. The falafel was good, as was the veggie melt, but all needlessly expensive.

    (3)
  • Chris W.

This place was really good. We had red, white, and blue pancakes. They had coconut, blueberries and strawberries. We also had a breakfast burrito with turkey sausage. These were the specials. If it weren't for the specials, the menu would be quite boring. Bottom line: I'll be back.

My husband and I loved Malia's! They had just reopened for the season and we tried their breakfast. The food was outstanding and the wait staff made you feel at home. We're going back tomorrow!

Stopped by for lunch and loved the place! Friendly service. Plenty of options including many specials and a kids menu. Lots of vegetarian options. Some seating outdoors. Plenty of tables inside. Will be back.

Amazing GF pancakes, super nice service and I love the way this spot is decorated! plus vegetarian and vegan options that are actually healthy...a rarity in Ocean City! Definitely eat here if you are gluten free or looking for something other than the greasy beach standards of fries, burgers, pizza and tasteless pub fare.

Fresh and healthy. Greek salad was delicious. Kids loved the fruit salad and grilled cheese. Nice outdoor seating area. Bet breakfast is very good too. Right off the beach and not crazy expensive. I'd go back for sure!

This was a great find just steps from the beach. We ended up here when Sahara's and General's Kitchen were too busy. Everyone was friendly and courteous. The menu had a variety of healthy options to choose from. We enjoyed egg white veggie omelets and gluten-free waffles. The food was freshly prepared and the presentation was fabulous. A refreshing start to the day. Overall I would highly recommended it and I will definitely come back again.

Malia's is perfect for that breakfast you're desperately searching for before you apply sunblock and head to the beach. Alone, I was just strolling around aimlessly, looking for a decent place to get a cup of coffee when I happened to notice Malia's tucked underneath a hotel. I walked in and immediately became hungry for eggs, bacon, and toast. After finding a table and looking at the menu, I quickly realized I was the only one in the whole place. So I knew I was going to get great service and quick food, which was exactly what I wanted. After slugging down a cup of coffee, I ordered the Veggie Omelet, which was stuffed with feta cheese, mushrooms, green peppers, and onions. Delicious. It was perfect with a side of bacon and toast. I loved my breakfast, and I know every single tourist who flutters down to Ocean City will too. Keep it up Malia's.

We were camping near by where a pony got into our good stash. So we came here to get some vegan/veggie options. Super friendly staff. They also allowed us to customize our meal to meet our dietary needs. Funny enough I teased them about there sugar they had on the table. They brought out truvia and sugar in the raw for my coffee. This place had a good vibe.

Took the family for brunch since we read on Yelp that this place was good for either breakfast or lunch. As it turns out, we had both. My wife got the coconut pancake which was huge and delicious. Light and flavorful...one was plenty. We also ordered two salad sandwiches...chicken salad on a wrap and egg salad on pita bread. The chicken salad was freshly made that day and the wrap was packed. The egg salad was also freshly made...my son had them add guacamole (for a small fee) and he loved it. Kids menu had some nice selections...the chicken tenders were very tasty. If you're looking for a break from all the (yummy) junk food on the boardwalk, I would strongly recommend Malia's. Lots of healthy, fresh, great tasting options. I would rate the food a 5, but had to give it a 4 overall. Service was slow, and not overly attentive. They fussed a bit about ordering lunch when they were still serving breakfast (we ordered at 10:55am, lunch doesn't start until 11am), but they said if we didn't order anything that required the grill we would be ok. Definitely would recommend if you're not in a hurry...we would certainly go back again.

Decent place. I thought it was really good until I tried Sahara Cafe the next day and realized how much of a better value Sahara's is due to the Huge portions they serve. However, if you're on the boardwalk and in need of a quick breakfast spot, this place is worth checking out. It's pretty tiny but the food is good.

Malia's is the reincarnation of the "Original" Mad Hatter's on 25th street. As a namesake restaurant, many of the Alice in Wonderland themed menu items have changed names, reflecting the owners family and personal whims; what has stayed the same or improved is the quirky beachside-healthy as you want californiaesque style of sandwich artistry. Old timers and newbies alike, will find some friendly faces and tasty items waiting at the new location, beneath the Spinnaker Hotel on 18th street just a few steps from the beach. Note: Vegetarian items available on menu!

No wait Sunday morning at 10. Place very colorfull and bright. Limited sweetner choices for your coffee. All they have is sugar and saccharin. The kitchen was slow and as well as coffee refills. There were a lot of flies in the dining area. Menu is fairly limited but the have the standard breakfast items. French toast was very good. Probably would not return.

This place was the best breakfast spot we found while vacationing here for memorial day weekend. We came last year with great results and decided return. Extremely friendly service, the freshest ingredients, well thought out variety such as being able to fully customize a breakfast sandwich to perfection make for a rare find. There are also vegetarian options such as the vegetarian sausage which tasted wonderfully close to the real thing. Why go anywhere else?

Malia's makes the kind of food I love to eat....loaded with fresh produce, lots of vegetarian options, and lots of flavors. My niece told me to go there, and we ate at Malia's every day we were in OC! Veggie burger with avocado, sprouts and muenster in a pillowy soft pita with sweet potato tater tots was my first meal there...so healthy, fresh and yummy. Then we had breakfast there every day thereafter. Delicious eggs with avocados, nicely cooked potatoes, toast, and oatmeal with fruit. We loaded up on breakfast, and didn't need to eat all day. I craved their oatmeal - thick, chewy, real cooked oats with brown sugar and milk. Service was attentive, very nice, and relaxed. I didn't feel rushed through the meal, or rushed to leave our table. I miss them already, and can't wait for my next trip to the beach!!

Healthy food, happy thoughts, happier tummies! The food is so big you can't pick it up but so yummy you find a way to. Fresh, fun, and flavorful! Fabulous!!!! Get the sweet potato tots!

After a few days in OC we were looking for a quality breakfast and we found Malia's. We went early, shortly after opening and the staff was friendly and ready to go. I had the breakfast burrito with fresh fruit and it was outstanding. I would have loved to stop back in for lunch because the menu looked great with a lot of healthy options but unfortunately we were leaving that afternoon. I will definitely return to Malia's during my next visit to OC.

I was hoping this would be the reincarnation of Mad Hatter's. Not quite, but pretty good.

Bright beachy decor, with flowers, flamingos, and mermaid artwork on the walls. Seating indoors and outdoors. Classic rock playing at low volume. My toddler was able to sleep in his jogger stroller through the entire meal. Waitress initially forgot our drinks, but made up for it with relatively speedy refills. Was a bit nervous when asked if I wanted lettuce and tomato on my chicken cheesesteak?? However, it was done right - to my Philly region standards. Bathrooms are clean.

Stumbled across their sandwich board on the boardwalk - never knew it existed prior to that as the location is tucked back away from the boards a bit. Place is very nice for breakfast - I'd like to try it for lunch. We were there late season and so it looked like they were relying on family members to staff out until closing. Didn't affect service at all however. I had a breakfast burrito with sausage and avocado (special not on the menu). Came with chips and salsa and toast - lotta carbs - the salsa was freshly made and really quite good. Burrito was also quite good. Wife had eggs and toast and hash browns and their hash browns, while probably US Foods brand, were doctored up a bit and nice and crisp - very good. There are a few unusual items on the menu including a 'cheese boat' which is just like a fondue with toast points - odd but cool too. We will check back next season and try for lunch for sure. Loved our experience at Malias - glad they put the sandwich board out.!

Just had the best lunch we've had in OC. Came here with our 10 and 6 year old daughters and everyone loved their meal. Delicious salad with fresh, tasty grilled chicken; perfectly seasoned french dip; cheesesteak with lots of fresh veggies and even yummy chicken tenders. Highly recommend! We'll be back!

Very tasty! Nice change from greasy fare elsewhere. Everything was fresh made (including the lemonade -- yum!). There's typical choices plus some decent veg options, if that's your thing. Good kids menu, too. I had the egg salad, my hubby the Philly cheesesteak. It's location down a side street makes it easy to miss so keep your eyes open for their bicycle chained to a signpost at the boardwalk.

The food was ok. Not sure what the rave was about. French toast and the pancakes eggs ordinary. Not bad just ok.

This is a decent, clean place where vegans can grab lunch in Ocean City. They have a couple of good, fresh wraps, a very rich peanut butter-banana-granola sandwich (with honey), and good coffee.

What an oasis in a sea of greasy, fast food on the boardwalk. This vegetarian family was saved with a delicious healthy choice in this gem of a restaurant. My daughters devoured their grilled cheese and my powerhouse avacado sandwich was delicious. We will be back!
